My hybrid use of 35mm and medium format 120mm film, alongside digital photography, creates a sense of timelessness that can be difficult to achieve. Though different, the nostalgic, homey feeling of film combined with the clean, crisp look of digital honors both our current timeline and sentiments of the past—giving the sense that “this photo could have been taken anytime.”

True to life with an elevated twist. I put a strong emphasis on creating images that will remain timeless. The best way I’ve found to do this is matching my digital edits to the film as best as possible. I also really believe in variation in a wedding gallery, I’m indecisive and I know you guys can be too haha. But for any “funky” or more dramatic edit I do I will also include a *clean* version.

I shift through phases of gentle direction, purely an observer, and take the lead as the scenario calls for it. I offer gentle direction throughout the day to ensure we utilize our best natural light option, or most flattering background, but I won’t interrupt a natural moment to ask you to move or prompt you to repeat a natural moment in better lighting. Real moments deserve priority & no one needs an overly bossy creative director on one of the happiest days of their life. Often I am purely observing, but there are a few times that call for someone capable of taking the lead, making the calls, and keeping the day moving. My best example of this would be family photos, when a calm and organized leader is necessary to keeping everyone sane lol.
